New funding awarded

I’ve been awarded a National Lottery Projects Grant to begin a new body of work focusing on damp. Living with it, navigating it, and looking at how it finds its way in to our homes and workplaces.

Throughout my life I've lived, often precariously, in a variety of situations affected by damp. And in my work as a heating installer and retrofit consultant I’ve seen a lot of damp, and learnt much about its causes.

I’m inviting others to share their experiences of damp at a series of free art and conversation workshops this Autumn. The workshops are designed to allow a gentle and creative opportunity to explore our responses to living with damp. We will make artworks using collage, paint, and drawing materials, and share conversation around our experiences.

This research will culminate in an exhibition at Auction House, Redruth (April-May 2027), and a series of film screenings at University of Reading, Exeter Phoenix and MIRROR at Arts University Plymouth.

Sijelo Collective - If Trees Could Talk Biennial

New work from the Sijelo Collective - womxn* artists, creatives and activists dedicated to addressing the intertwined challenges of displacement, racial justice, and climate justice.

Flamm 2026

As a previously commissioned Flamm artist I was very glad to be invited by Creative Kernow and Counterpoints Arts to participate in this year’s festival,

WRITING
I have written a piece for the Flamm online publication which will be available online later in March. The publication will also include texts from Joe Lyward, and Marie-Anne McQuay. FACILITATION
In the run-up to Flamm, I facilitated an exchange project between some of this year's commissioned artists & artists and creatives from the Counterpoints Arts Climate & Displacement group. Catching Copper

National Trust, East Pool Mine,
9th August - 25th September 2025

Catching Copper was a multi-layered exhibition across all floors of Michell’s Engine House. It included video, sculpture, drawing and an audio-story that draw upon experience and memories of the local area, to consider loss, social change and the legacy of extraction industries.
