Art + Writing, co-programmer. A series of seminars and talks exploring the relationship of art and writing. Spike Island, Bristol.

Symbol Archive, project that considers the possibilities of research and learning occurring through collaboration and the layering of ideas. Events have included Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers Back to Back (2008), Picture This, Bristol, marathon over-night screening of all the films of the legendary dancing duo; Ghosts, Landscape, Literature: A Walk with Dr Shelley Trower (2009), Yorkshire. A commissioned paper delivered as a walk on moorland near Haworth, Yorkshire; Symbol Readings (2010-ongoing), a series of readings in different locations including The Waste Land on The Lizard Peninsular, Cornwall and News from Nowhere at a co-operative café in Bristol, and most recently Visual Language (2013) with Engagement Network and Spacex Gallery, Exeter.

Programmer, Spike Island Artists’ Book & Zine Fair, Spike Island, Bristol. In 2011 co-programmer with Marie-Anne McQuay & Book Works.

Journey to the Centre of the Earth, curator; selected for Transitions; Curators’ Edition, Newlyn Art Gallery, Cornwall. An exhibition using the 1959 film of the same name as a starting point. Included work from Matthew Houlding, Oliver Sutherland and Steven Paige.

gostopgo, Cornwall; co-ordinator/curator. A four-week residential project, six artists collaborated and produced new work each week for exhibition each weekend.

more, co-coordinator. A three month project raising the profile of independent activity in Cornwall.

Santa’s Secret £10 Tombola, Redruth, Cornwall; co-ordinator/curator. A one-night event; gift-wrapped artworks were won through a pot-luck tombola system; included work from Matthew Houlding, Sean Hawkridge and Debbie Lawson.

Spring Series, Cornwall; founder and programmer. A fine art lecture series, speakers have included Olivia Plender, Ruth Claxton, Nav Haq, Hew Locke and Lucy Byatt.
